Retail Member Statement

Every Friday a Statement is generated for each Member Retailer. In addition to summarizing product invoices, the Statement also includes a Central Bill and the Affiliated Foods Midwest Cooperative Purchasing Fee.

Pricing Policy/Category Management

Affiliated Foods Midwest Cooperative operates on a cost-plus margin in all departments. The mark-up is included in the order guide and invoice prices, less any direct off invoice allowance. Sugar, Diapers, Coffee, 32 oz. regular and lite Miracle Whip, and 2 lb. regular and lite Velveeta carry no mark-up. For group pricing, all case labels will show a delivered unit cost, but will not reflect any off invoice case allowances in effect on the retail price. The retailer must decide if he needs to reflect these allowances. There is no charge for case labels and they are used in all departments with the exception of Repack where we use packing slips. (Above does not apply to individual pricing.) Individual retail pricing is available, separate from the normal group catalog pricing, which allows local competitive pricing where needed at a competitive price.
