"Because they have a great team of leaders who seem to communicate among each other and with the stores. I get the feeling that they do what they have to – looking at the present and the future, but keeping in mind that we are all one big family (partners), so what they spend or what we profit is all done to make everyone stronger.
The staff is very helpful and will answer or get you an answer quickly no matter what your concern or needs may be.
Of course, the year end patronage is great, compared to other companies, and to be with the company that is debt-free is almost unheard of, that in itself should say a lot about AFM, so who wouldn’t want to do business with a company like that.

"We think Affiliated has the best program out there. Retail accounting and payroll services, insurance services, retail computer support systems, and quality people there to help us when we need it. They do return our calls and are most courteous and helpful, despite Bill’s grumpiness. There are very few outs – and mispicks and misorders are handled swiftly.
The rebate check is, of course, a must for us. We will remodel some and replace an aged dairy case – we couldn’t do it without the check.
We think the new "STAR" Program and technology will be the right foot forward. We admit that we were skeptical about handling more stress, but after attending the "STAR" seminar, we are encouraged that we are all going in the same direction.
